Description
Thick lines, double numbering, a fully framed graduation: the S-006 is the track you choose when the marking has to be read across the room, on camera and under low light.
16 mm turf track with reinforced high-visibility graduation
The S-006 pushes the marking to its maximum contrast: framed graduation, double numbering and thick lines. It is built for environments where legibility matters more than restraint – a dark room, dimmed lighting, video capture, competition in front of an audience. Where a discreet marking disappears on camera, this one holds.
Materials and installation
Pro quality synthetic turf, 16 mm fibre height, designed for intensive indoor use. The numbering and the lines are integrated into manufacture, not applied on top of the turf: they do not wear off, but they cannot be changed after delivery, so the marking plan and the distances must be confirmed before production starts. Installation is loose-laid or fixed around the perimeter on a hard, flat floor – concrete, tiles or existing rubber tiles. For machine zones and drop zones alongside the track, plan for rubber gym flooring tiles instead, as turf does not take prolonged static loads.

What is it for?
CrossFit box and HYROX gym – a permanent conditioning zone. A numbered track turns distance into a fixed visual reference: the coach calls a distance, the athlete reads it off the floor. Sprints, sled push, sled pull, bear crawls and farmer walks follow one another without resetting cones for every workout, and times stay comparable from session to session.
Strength and conditioning centre – standardised testing. A metred graduation supports speed protocols over fixed distances: sprint repetitions, acceleration tests, speed endurance work. The data stays usable over time because the distance no longer depends on where the equipment was placed.
Video capture and competition – a marking that reads on camera. Double numbering and thick lines stay legible in dimmed lighting, from the far side of the room and through a lens. That is the specific reason to choose this reference over a standard graduation.
Sports club and return-to-play work – progressive protocols. In supervised running progressions, distance is the parameter to control before intensity. A legible graduation on the floor makes progress measurable without a stopwatch or additional equipment.
What to know before ordering
The price is per square metre, not per linear metre. A track 15 m long and 2 m wide is 30 m2. Work out the real surface before comparing quotations.
The marking is built into the product. The numbering and the lines are part of the surface. They do not wear off, but they cannot be changed after delivery.
Turf does not take prolonged static loads. Fibres compress under the feet of racks, selectorised machines or any equipment left standing. Keep the track free of fixed equipment.
Fibre composition, backing, weight per m2 and fire classification are not published. These figures drive delivery logistics and compliance in public-access venues. Ask for the full technical data sheet before validating a project subject to a safety commission.
Frequently asked questions
What does reinforced graduation change in practice?
Line thickness, framing and duplicated numbers. In a bright room a standard marking is enough; under stage lighting, on video or from twenty metres away, this is the version that stays readable.
Can the distances be defined by us?
The marking plan is confirmed before production. Send the distances you work to with your quotation request, along with the length and width of the zone.
Is the track delivered in one piece?
Packaging depends on the dimensions ordered: beyond a certain length the track is delivered in several widths to be joined on site. Send us your dimensions for the exact packaging of your configuration.
Which width should I choose?
Tracks one metre wide carry a supplement of 14 EUR excluding VAT per m2. A 2 m width takes two athletes side by side or a wide sled. State the width you need with your quotation request.
Do I need a graduated track everywhere?
Rarely. Many facilities put the S-006 on the working lane and a Line Up centre-line track on the return lane, which keeps the measured work where it is used and the cost per square metre down elsewhere.
