Description
The TRAINER Papillon Revers Steel4Fit (reference D07R+SZ-STEEL4FIT) is an outdoor reverse fly station for public fitness areas under continuous use. It stands 2,020 mm high, weighs 80 kg, takes users from 140 cm tall up to a maximum user weight of 150 kg, and is certified to EN 16630:2015 by TUV Rheinland. Professional price: 2,430 EUR excluding VAT.
Movement and muscles worked
The user sits facing the frame and pulls the two arms backwards, opening the chest. The movement is the mirror image of the pec fly and loads the posterior deltoid, the rhomboids and the middle trapezius, with the erector spinae stabilising the trunk. It is the pulling half of the pair, and it matters on outdoor circuits: most casual users push far more than they pull, so a reverse fly balances the shoulder work of a whole site. Difficulty is rated medium.
Resistance comes from body mass and lever position, not from a weight stack, so there is nothing for a user to set incorrectly.
Steel4Fit reinforced construction
Steel4Fit is the heavy-duty build of the TRAINER outdoor range. Curved members are formed from seamless S355 steel, straight members from S235. The welded assembly is hot-dip galvanised and then powder coated twice, giving a corrosion barrier that survives impact and abrasion on unsupervised municipal sites. The range is finished in red and graphite, RAL 3000/7016.

Typical installations
Urban parks, municipal outdoor gyms, sports grounds, campsites, holiday villages and residential schemes. EN 16630:2015 is the European standard for permanently installed outdoor fitness equipment and is normally the reference quoted in public tenders. The 393 x 405 cm safety area must stay free of paths, benches and planting and be finished with a surface matched to the free height of fall.

Frequently asked questions
Should I install the reverse fly on its own or with the pec fly?
Both are usually installed together. The pec fly D06R+SZ trains the pushing pattern and the reverse fly D07R+SZ the pulling pattern, and a circuit with only one of the two loads the shoulder unevenly.
Is the equipment suitable for a coastal site?
Yes. Hot-dip galvanising plus two powder coats is the specification we recommend where salt spray shortens the life of a single-coated frame. Touch-up paint is supplied for repairs to impact damage.
What maintenance does the station need?
A visual inspection of the anchor bolts and coating, and a check of the moving arm bushes. There is no cable, no stack and no upholstery, so the annual service is limited to fixings and finish.
