Description
The TRAINER R25S is the compact version of the outdoor exercise bike, designed for sites where the standard model would not leave enough clear space around it. Everything else stays the same: a seated pedalling movement, no settings to adjust, and a maximum user weight of 150 kg.
Why a compact station matters
The limiting factor on a small fitness area is rarely the equipment footprint itself, it is the safety zone that has to stay clear around each unit. Shrinking the machine shrinks that zone, and a compact bike often makes the difference between fitting four stations into a neighbourhood site and fitting three. That is the whole argument for the S variant: same exercise, more stations per square metre.
- Develops the leg musculature and strengthens the knees
- Improves cardio-respiratory condition
- Difficulty rating: easy, no instruction required
- Minimum user height 140 cm, maximum user weight 150 kg
Materials and compliance
The structure is high-grade steel, shot-blasted and galvanised, then finished with a double layer of polyester paint. The seat is HDPE panel, which stays usable in full sun where a bare metal seat would not and resists graffiti removal products. Standard colourways are yellow (RAL 1018/7004), graphite (RAL 7016/9006), orange (RAL 2000/9006) and lime (RAL 6018/9006), with other shades on request. The station complies with EN 16630:2015-06 and is tested and certified by TUV Rheinland.

Where it is specified
Urban parks, small municipal fitness areas and neighbourhood health trails. It also works as an addition to an existing installation that has run out of room: because the unit is free-standing, it can be added without touching the layout already in the ground.
Frequently asked questions
How does it differ from the standard outdoor bike?
The exercise, the materials, the finish and the certification are identical. The difference is the footprint, and therefore the clear area needed around the station.
Is exact sizing available for a planning file?
Yes. Dimensioned drawings and the safety zone for the R25S are issued with the quotation, which is what a procurement or planning submission normally requires.
Does it need maintenance?
Periodic inspection under the EN 16630 routine: fixings, pivots and the condition of the HDPE seat. There is no scheduled repainting in normal service.
Tell us the site dimensions, the number of stations and the surfacing planned, and we will return a layout proposal with a costed quotation.
