Description

This stainless steel outdoor decline bench press targets the lower chest while recruiting the triceps and shoulders. The decline position produces a precise, secure pressing path, and Olympic plate loading turns it into a progressive exercise rather than a fixed one.

Decline pressing is the element most outdoor strength areas omit, usually because a decline frame is longer than a flat bench and harder to fit. At 319 cm this unit is the longest station of the family, and that length is what allows the angle and the bar path to be correct rather than approximated.

The frame is high quality stainless steel, unaffected by rain, humidity and UV, and dimensioned for demanding outdoor conditions. Load adjusts from 5 kg to 100 kg in 5 kg steps, covering a beginner’s first working set through to an experienced lifter, on a stable and ergonomic structure that needs no refinishing over its life.

Fitting a long station into the layout

The 319 centimetre length is the constraint that governs where this bench can go. On a narrow strip of ground it works well aligned with the length of the plot; on a square area it is usually placed at the perimeter so that the safety zone of 20.65 square metres does not cut the circulation in two.

The bench is specified for outdoor strength parks, public sports spaces and high specification private installations, generally alongside a flat and an incline press to complete the chest offer. Anchoring is prepared on foundations or an existing concrete slab, and impact attenuating surfacing is dimensioned to the free fall height. Light In Fitness manufactures the range in Tours, installs across France, and covers Belgium, Switzerland and Luxembourg as standard.

Frequently asked questions

Is decline pressing safe without a spotter?

The bar path is guided by the frame and the catches limit travel, which is why this configuration is approved for unsupervised public use. Users should still load conservatively, as they would on any press.

Do we need all three pressing angles?

Not necessarily. Where space or budget is limited, a flat and an incline station cover most needs. The decline is added when a site wants a complete chest offer for regular trainers.

What grade of stainless steel is used?

The structure is stainless steel with a lifetime warranty against corrosion. For coastal or chlorinated environments, confirm the exact grade with our technical team when requesting the quotation.
