Description

The 10 ft wall mounted cross competition rig turns a short run of facade into a suspended training zone, reducing the floor take to the working depth in front of the structure. Where a wall is available and sound, that is the most economical way to add capacity to a constrained site.

Ten feet of wall organises pull ups, hangs and body weight training for a small group. Because the frame is carried by the building, the ground in front stays clear for circulation and for mobile equipment, which a freestanding rig with its own uprights cannot offer. Schools use the format under a covered play area, boxes and gyms use it to bring a blank facade into service, and hotels use it to make a terrace usable for training.

The structure is 316L marine grade stainless steel for permanent exposure without surface treatment. Fixing requires a sound load bearing support, verified during the free siting study; where the wall does not qualify, the equivalent freestanding version is proposed instead.

Verifying the wall before specifying

The support is the whole question on a wall mounted rig. It must be a load bearing wall in good condition, and that is confirmed during the free siting study rather than assumed from a photograph. Rendered facades, cavity construction and older masonry all need checking, and the answer determines the fixing detail.

Where the wall is not suitable, the equivalent freestanding rig is offered as the alternative, so a failed survey does not stop the project. In open access settings EN 16630 applies, with a safety zone of at least 1.50 m and an impact attenuating surface to EN 1177 sized by the free fall height; bonded rubber tiles of 40 to 65 mm are the usual specification. The siting study and the fixing plan are prepared from your site drawing and issued with the quotation at no cost. We deliver to France, Belgium, Switzerland and Luxembourg, quote export per project, and dispatch within five to ten working days from stock.

Frequently asked questions

What conditions does a wall fixing require?

A load bearing support in good condition, validated during the siting study. If it does not qualify, we propose the equivalent freestanding structure.

How much floor space is needed?

Only the working depth in front of the rig, plus the safety zone required in open access settings. That is the main advantage of the wall mounted format.

Does the stainless steel need maintenance?

Cleaning and periodic inspection. 316L needs no repainting or surface treatment, including in coastal or chlorinated air.
