Description
This 14 foot wall mounted cross competition rig turns an ordinary run of wall into an outdoor cross training zone. It is the most versatile wall format in the range: enough capacity for a small group, with minimal floor take.
Fourteen feet of linear wall is enough to organise a complete bodyweight circuit for a small group. Because the structure is anchored to the wall rather than standing on the ground, the floor in front of it stays free for mobile stations such as bags, ropes and dumbbells, which in practice roughly doubles the usable training area for the same square metres.
The cross competition range applies the standards of competition structures, hole spacing, grips and working heights, in a stainless execution intended for permanent exposure to the weather. The material is stainless steel 316L, the marine grade that resists corrosion in coastal air, chlorinated environments and salt laden atmospheres. Maintenance is limited to cleaning and periodic checking of the fixings.

Where a wall mounted rig makes sense
A wall rig suits sites where floor area is the constraint rather than budget. Boxes and gyms use it to bring a rear facade into service as an outdoor zone, schools fit it under a covered playground for physical education, hotels build a training terrace into the existing structure, and barracks add wall capacity alongside existing areas.
The wall itself is the first thing to verify. The structure must be fixed to a load bearing wall, and we confirm the fixing method against the wall construction as part of the implantation study. Where the rig is installed in free public access, EN 16630 applies, with a safety zone of at least 1.50 m and an EN 1177 impact attenuating surface sized from the free height of fall. On closed private sites those requirements remain the reference for good practice.
For the landing area we recommend rubber gym flooring tiles of 40 to 65 mm laid bonded. Light In Fitness has manufactured and distributed from Tours since 2013, supports more than 500 establishments, and includes a free implantation study, delivery throughout France, installation by our own teams and a professional warranty, with wearing parts available after the sale.
Frequently asked questions
What wall is required?
A load bearing wall of sufficient length. The fixing method is confirmed against the wall construction in the implantation study.
How many people can train on it at once?
Fourteen feet of rig supports a small group circuit, with the floor in front left free for mobile stations.
Is stainless steel necessary outdoors?
316L marine grade is specified for permanent exposure, including coastal and chlorinated environments where coated steel would eventually corrode.
