Description
The kids twister with illustrated panel is a children’s outdoor fitness station supplied and installed throughout France by Light In Fitness. A rotating floor plate is paired with a hold bar fixed to an illustrated panel: the child pivots from the hips while keeping the torso facing the panel, mobilising the waist and training balance in one simple movement.
Trunk rotation made intuitive
Rotation is a movement children rarely train deliberately – the twister turns it into a game. The illustrated panel is not just decoration: it gives the child a fixed visual reference that stabilises the gaze while the pelvis rotates, which is precisely what makes the exercise effective for lumbo-pelvic mobility and proprioception. The hold bar sits at child height, keeping the grip secure throughout.

Two compliance versions: EN 16630 or EN 1176
The twister is offered in an EN 16630 version (free-access outdoor fitness equipment, intended for users of at least 1.40 m) and an EN 1176 version (playground equipment standard, covering free spaces, entrapment and free fall height, with EN 1177 impact-attenuating surfacing where the fall height requires it). The hardware and footprint are identical; the version is chosen from the administrative classification of your space – a declared playground takes EN 1176, a free-access fitness trail takes EN 16630.
