Description
JUEWA is a trellis of interwoven ropes tensioned across four posts in a 3.0 x 3.0 m configuration, with anchor points set at two different heights: 0.4 m to 0.6 m at the low end and 2.65 m to 2.85 m at the high end. The result is a warped surface rather than a flat panel.
A net that is never the same twice
Because the anchor points sit at staggered heights, the rope trellis twists as it crosses the plot. The diamond openings change proportion along the surface, so a route that works at one end has to be adapted at the other. Children read this immediately and treat the module as a problem to be solved, which is why it holds older users who have lost interest in a regular grid.
- Trellis of interwoven ropes forming diamond openings
- Anchor points at 0.4 m to 0.6 m and at 2.65 m to 2.85 m
- Posts with galvanised and powder coated caps
- Aluminium, stainless steel and plastic connectors

Access from the low side
The low anchor points give a natural entry for smaller children, who start where the net is close to the ground and climb towards the high side. That built-in gradient is useful in mixed-age play areas, because it removes the need for a separate easy module alongside.
Installation and surfacing
Four posts on 1.0 m reinforced concrete footings, heavy plant access required, and an impact attenuating surface to EN 1176-1 across the whole 8.3 x 8.3 m safety area, sized against the 2.85 m free height of fall.
Frequently asked questions
Does the low anchorage make the module suitable under 5 years?
No. It is certified from 5 years, and the low entry simply makes the first metre easier for a smaller child within that range.
Will the net keep its shape?
The geometry is held by rope tension and by the fixed anchor positions. Tension is set at installation and checked at the periodic inspection required by EN 1176.
Can the module be walked on as well as climbed?
The lower part of the warped surface is close enough to the ground to be crossed on foot, and children use it that way. The full safety area still applies.
