Description
The Evolo forms an open climbing dome carried on three curved steel tube supports – a light, sculptural alternative to closed domes. A funnel-shaped central net draws climbers towards the middle, while four climbing ropes with plastic handholds, a ladder and three suspended balls turn the 6.7 x 6.1 m structure into a busy little attraction.
An open dome that invites every approach
Because the Evolo stands on just three supports, children aged 5 to 14 can enter from any direction and choose their route: up the ropes, over the ladder, or straight into the central funnel net where gravity gathers everyone together. The suspended balls add swinging and balance play, keeping the structure lively even for children who are not yet confident climbers. At 2.8 m high, it delivers real climbing without dominating the landscape.

Frequently asked questions
What is the advantage of the three-support design?
Fewer supports mean open sight lines for supervisors, unobstructed access from all sides, and a lighter visual footprint than fully enclosed domes of similar capacity.
What safety area does the Evolo need?
Reserve a minimum of 9.7 x 9.5 m with impact-attenuating surfacing rated for the 2.8 m free fall height, in accordance with EN 1176.
What role do the suspended balls play?
They act as dynamic balance elements – children stand, swing and bounce on them – adding vestibular play that complements the static climbing nets.
