Description
The Construction Excavator play structure puts children in the driving seat of a working digger. Finished in the unmistakable yellow, black and red of site machinery, this 11.8 m rope structure packs a central climbing well, two play levels, a bucket-shaped net and a stainless steel slide into a slim 3.0 m wide footprint.
A digger children can actually operate
The route begins on two lateral access ladders and climbs through a 1 x 1 m central rope well where rope platforms alternate with rubber mats. Two play levels at 1.5 m and 3.5 m are linked by two rope ladders and four climbing ropes, while the excavator’s bucket – a 5 m long, 1 m wide external net – forms the signature climbing challenge. A gangway leads to the 1 m wide stainless steel slide, and a large rope lounger (2.2 x 1.0 m) plus two rubber hammocks give children aged 5 to 14 places to rest between missions.

Frequently asked questions
Why a stainless steel slide rather than plastic?
Stainless steel resists UV fading, vandalism and heavy daily use, keeping the descent fast and smooth for the life of the structure – a sound choice for high-traffic public playgrounds.
Will it fit a narrow strip of land?
Yes. At only 3.0 m wide, the excavator suits linear plots along paths or fences; the required safety zone is 15.3 x 6.0 m with surfacing rated for a 3.0 m free fall height.
How does this model differ from the Retro Industrial Excavator?
This version wears the classic yellow-black-red machine livery with polycarbonate detailing and a stainless steel slide, while the retro model offers a vintage grey-black or yellow styling on the same layout.
