Description
The Castle rope play structure evokes a medieval fortress with towers, ramparts and rope passages, in a red, grey and black palette made for children’s imaginations. Supplied and installed throughout France by Light In Fitness.
Towers to hold, ramparts to defend
Castle play never goes out of fashion because it comes with its own script: attackers, defenders, lookouts, sieges. This structure gives the script its stage – steel-framed towers rising to 8.3 m, rampart walkways running the 26.6 m length, and rope nets and gangways connecting them so that every assault route is a climbing route. Multiple access points and play levels let large groups occupy the fortress at once.

Frequently asked questions
Does the castle suit heritage towns?
Particularly well – communes with a medieval centre or a real castle often choose it so the play area echoes the town’s own story. The red-grey-black palette reads as fortress rather than cartoon.
How do children move between the towers?
Rope gangways and net passages link the towers along the rampart line, so circulation happens at height – the crossing itself is the game, with multiple routes preventing bottlenecks.
What is the required ground area?
Beyond the 26.6 x 9.3 m structure, the minimum EN 1176 safety zone is 30.6 x 14.0 m, with EN 1177 attenuating surfacing beneath the fall zones. The free layout study fits both to your plot.
