Description
The Twin Fir Trees stage two conifer-shaped play towers, clad in HPL and pierced with animal-print polycarbonate windows, linked by a rope-net tunnel suspended 3.5 m above the ground. The result is a woodland story children can climb into – and a strong visual identity for forest parks, campsites and nature-themed playgrounds.
Two towers, one adventure
Each 6.8 m fir tree contains two full storeys and three intermediate rope landings, so the climb upwards is broken into achievable stages. Four printed polycarbonate windows per tower let children peek out at every level. Between the towers, a 5.0 m open-mesh net tunnel (1.9 x 1.0 m section) turns the crossing into the highlight of the course, while two contrasting entrances – a steel-and-rope arch and a rope-lattice ramp – keep circulation flowing for groups aged 5 to 14.

Frequently asked questions
Why is the free fall height only 2.0 m on 6.8 m towers?
Climbing takes place inside the enclosed towers and tunnel, with storeys and landings limiting any open fall to 2.0 m – the value used to size the impact-attenuating surfacing.
Is the net tunnel safe for crossing at 3.5 m?
Yes. The tunnel is a fully enclosed mesh tube tensioned between the towers, certified as part of the complete structure by an independent body.
What does installation require?
Construction machinery access and 1.0 m deep foundations are needed; a layout plan and installation schedule accompany every quotation.
