Description
The Giant Whale brings the ocean to dry land. This monumental rope play structure traces the full silhouette of a whale in marine colours, stretching 27.6 m from nose to tail and rising 7.2 m at its highest point. For seafront promenades, aquarium grounds, holiday resorts and flagship municipal parks, it is a piece of playable public art.
A marine landmark children can climb through
The whale’s vast body is a continuous rope-net volume with multiple access points, so children aged 5 to 14 can enter, climb and traverse along the animal from head to tail. The generous interior lets large groups play simultaneously, while the instantly readable silhouette gives the whole site a strong marine identity that photographs beautifully – a genuine visitor draw.
