Description
This compact outdoor fitness station groups three exercise units, the (E)03 Surfer, the (E)07 Runner and the (E)26 Stepper, into a single installation covering strength, coordination and joint mobility. It is designed for sites that want a usable outdoor training offer without dedicating a large area to it: a park corner, a residential courtyard, a campsite, a school ground or a corporate outdoor space. Three complementary units give a complete circuit that works for a first time user and for a trained athlete on the same equipment.
The (E)03 Surfer reproduces a surfing motion. The user stands on the platform, holds the handles and swings the pelvis laterally, which activates the hip joints, loads the abdominal wall and trains the coordination between the upper and lower body. It is the unit that people use for longest, because the movement is enjoyable rather than effortful.
The (E)07 Runner develops lower body strength and endurance. The feet sit on moving platforms, the user holds the support bar for stability and alternates the legs, working the thighs and calves while gently mobilising the joints and increasing hip range of movement. The (E)26 Stepper is used seated, with the feet on adjustable pedals and a continuous pedalling motion. It stimulates circulation, activates the hips and knees, strengthens the thighs and calves and mobilises the joints, which makes it the most accessible of the three for older users and for anyone returning to activity.

Planning a compact outdoor station
Three units in one station is a deliberate compromise between offer and area. It gives a circuit rather than a single exercise, which is what makes people return, while occupying far less ground than a full outdoor gym. Position the group where it is overlooked from a path or a building, since visible equipment is used more and damaged less, and allow a clear zone around each unit so that a user in motion does not reach a neighbour. Because all three units are driven by the user rather than by added weights, there is no plate handling and no security arrangement to manage, which suits unsupervised municipal and residential sites. The base and the surfacing are the two items to settle before ordering: anchoring requires a prepared foundation, and the ground finish has to drain and stay firm. Send us the site plan and we will produce a free implantation study covering base, surfacing and spacing.
Frequently asked questions
Who can use this station?
All three units are suitable for adults across a wide range of ability, from beginners to trained athletes. The seated stepper is the most accessible for older users and those returning to activity after a break.
Is any adjustment or supervision required?
The units are driven by the user’s own movement, so there are no weights to set and no supervision is needed for normal use. Intensity is controlled by the pace and the amplitude of the movement.
What material is the station made from?
The range is built for permanent outdoor exposure with a robust weather resistant construction. The material grade and the surface treatment are confirmed on the quotation for your specific site, which matters for coastal and heavily salted locations.
