Description
The Bodytone ZROB is an air-resistance bike that drives the arms and the legs at the same time. Resistance comes from a 27-inch fan, so it scales directly with the effort produced and needs no electrical supply at all. The machine measures 134 x 58 x 130 cm and takes users up to 135 kg. Professional price: 2,519 EUR excluding VAT.
Air resistance: the load is set by the user
There are no resistance levels to select. The harder the user pushes, the more air the fan has to move, and the resistance rises with it. This is what makes an air bike the standard tool for interval work: a Tabata block, a calorie target and a steady aerobic session all run on the same machine with no setting to change between them, and no two users ever need the same configuration.
- Simultaneous arm and leg drive, whole-body cardiovascular load
- Zero-impact movement, suitable across the whole fitness spectrum including deconditioned users
- No electrical supply and no cabling, which frees the floor layout entirely
- 27-inch fan, Poly V belt transmission, three-piece bottom bracket
- LCD console with high-intensity interval modes and target-based training
- Ergonomic saddle with horizontal and vertical adjustment
Where it belongs on the floor
The ZROB is designed for functional and high-intensity training zones, small group class areas and physical preparation rooms. Because it needs no socket, several units can be lined up along a wall or arranged in an island without any electrical work, and the layout can be changed later at no cost. Recommended usage is 30 hours per week.
Construction
High-strength steel frame finished in industrial powder coating. Moving assemblies are sealed, which is what keeps a fan bike maintenance-free over a long service life: there is no console battery to change and no drive to re-tension beyond normal belt checks.

Frequently asked questions
Does the ZROB need a power socket?
No. Air resistance is purely mechanical and the console is self-contained, so the machine can be sited anywhere on the floor. For a functional zone that is often the deciding argument, because it removes the electrical works from the fit-out budget.
Who can use an air bike?
Anyone, because the load is produced by the user rather than imposed by the machine. The pedalling and arm movement are free of joint impact, so the same unit serves a deconditioned member on a light aerobic session and an athlete on a maximal interval block.
How much space does one unit need?
Each bike occupies 134 x 58 cm. Allow around 60 cm between units for mounting and dismounting, and leave the fan side clear so the airflow is not obstructed by a wall.
The ZROB is quoted at 2,519 EUR excluding VAT, before delivery. For a functional zone we regularly quote several units together with flooring and a maintenance contract; send us your floor plan and we will return a budget within 24 to 72 hours.
