Bodytone Outdoor Strength Machines: Stainless Steel Range
Bodytone built its name on made-to-order strength equipment, and the same approach carries over to the open air. The Outdoor range is a seven-piece stainless steel series designed to stay installed permanently outside, with no roof over it and no seasonal storage. For hotels, resorts, residential developments and wellness operators, it answers a narrow brief: professional strength training in a fully exposed setting, on equipment that still looks the part after several winters.
A seven-piece stainless steel series
The range is conceived as a set rather than a catalogue of unrelated items. Seven pieces, one visual language, one material: stainless steel, with the same purist design running through every station. That consistency matters when the equipment sits in a place people look at as much as they use, such as a rooftop terrace, a hotel garden or the outdoor area of a wellness centre.
Indoors, the same brand logic applies to the professional strength training machines; outdoors, the material and the finish do the work that a controlled indoor climate normally does.
Weatherproof by design
Rooftop training areas, hotel gardens, yacht decks, private wellness areas: the range is specified to be left in place whatever the weather. There is no protective housing to fit and no cover to put back on in the evening. The stations are made to be permanently exposed, which is the only realistic assumption for equipment that a facility wants available at any hour.
Low maintenance because of the material
Using stainless steel throughout, rather than painted steel with a protective coat, is what makes the stations durable and low maintenance. There is no coating to touch up after an impact and no annual repaint in the operating budget. For an operator, the practical difference is the number of interventions per year, not the specification sheet.
Configured to order
Nothing here is bought off the shelf. Each station is put together from individually chosen details, which is what allows a specifier to match an existing architecture, a colour scheme or an available footprint instead of adapting the site to the equipment. This is the same made-to-order approach that applies across the wider outdoor gym equipment offer.
Individual branding
Outdoor leather, finishes on request and engraving complete the configuration. A hotel group or a private club can carry its own identity onto the equipment rather than displaying a manufacturer’s livery, which is often the deciding factor when the training area is part of the guest experience.
Standards and installation
Permanently installed outdoor strength equipment for adults falls under EN 16630. The standard covers the equipment and the way it is anchored and used in an unsupervised setting, which is precisely how a garden or rooftop area operates: no instructor on duty, no session booking, open access. The layout study, the impact-absorbing surfacing and the installation itself are quoted alongside the equipment, and are best specified at the same time as the stations rather than afterwards. Other stainless steel outdoor strength machines are available where a full custom configuration is not required.
Frequently asked questions
Can the stations be left outside all year?
Yes. The range is designed for permanent outdoor installation and does not need to be dismantled or stored between seasons.
Which standard applies to this equipment?
EN 16630, the standard for permanently installed outdoor fitness equipment for adults. It is not the same framework as indoor equipment, and it is not the standard used for children’s play equipment.
Why stainless steel rather than coated steel?
Because the corrosion resistance comes from the material itself. A coating protects only as long as it is intact; a scratch on a painted frame starts a maintenance problem that stainless steel does not have.
Can we specify our own colours and branding?
Yes. Outdoor leather, finishes on request and engraving are part of the standard configuration process, not an exception to it.
Specifying the range for your site
An outdoor strength area is defined as much by its surface, its anchoring and its circulation as by the stations themselves. Send the dimensions of the area, the type of ground and the user profile you expect, and the configuration can be costed as a whole. Request a quote to have the seven-piece range priced for your project.
