Description
The Victory outdoor plyometric podium is a fixed multi height jumping platform in stainless steel, anchored in place rather than free standing like a jump box. A sealed structure cannot tip or slide on landing, which is the decisive difference in an unsupervised area.
Jump boxes are the standard tool for plyometric work indoors, where a coach is present and the surface is controlled. Outdoors, in open access, a box that can be knocked over is a hazard and a box that can be carried away is a liability. A fixed podium with several jump heights solves both: the progression from a beginner’s step up to a competitive box jump happens on the same structure, and nothing moves.
The multiple heights cover box jumps, step ups and lateral jumps, so the same platform serves a novice and a trained athlete. Construction is executed for permanent outdoor exposure and intensive use, and maintenance is limited to cleaning and periodic inspection of the landing surfaces.

Installation, safety zone and landing surface
In open access settings such as a municipal fitness area, a park or an institutional courtyard, the podium falls under EN 16630 for permanently installed outdoor fitness equipment. That requires a safety zone of at least 1.50 m around the structure and an impact attenuating surface to EN 1177 under and around it, with the thickness determined by the free fall height. On closed private sites, a military base, a company or a box, these remain the reference for good practice.
For the landing area we recommend bonded rubber tiles of 40 to 65 mm, sized by the same method. Anchoring is by base plates cast into a concrete foundation, or bolted to an existing concrete slab. A siting study and an anchoring plan are prepared from your site drawing and issued with the quotation at no cost. We deliver to France, Belgium, Switzerland and Luxembourg, quote export per project, and dispatch within five to ten working days from stock.
Frequently asked questions
Why a fixed podium rather than jump boxes?
A mobile box can tip or slide on landing, which is a real risk without supervision, and it can be moved or removed. A sealed podium gives stable landing surfaces at several heights and stays available permanently.
Who installs it?
Light In Fitness carries out the siting study, prepares the anchoring and installs throughout France. The terms are set out in the quotation, which is free and issued within 24 working hours.
What kind of sites use it?
Fire and military stations for explosive conditioning in open access, municipalities completing a cross training area, sports clubs building outdoor conditioning and campuses adding a jump station.
