Description
A fixed inclined sit-up bench in 316L marine-grade stainless steel for permanently installed outdoor fitness areas. Free access, no supervision required, 1,999 EUR excluding VAT.
Sit-ups that work without an instructor
The inclined bench blocks the legs and guides the trunk through the sit-up, which means correct execution does not depend on anyone being there to coach it. That is the whole design problem in open-access outdoor fitness: the equipment has to teach the movement by its geometry. The incline also makes the exercise progressive, since the same movement is harder or easier depending on where the user positions the torso.
The station completes a trunk offering alongside pull-up bars and core stations, and is one of the few outdoor items that suits every fitness level on the same frame.
Who installs it
| Type of site | Main benefit |

| Barracks and emergency services | Daily physical conditioning |
| Campsite and holiday village | Simple, universal station |
| School and campus | Supervised core work in PE lessons |
Installation, compliance and anchoring
In open-access settings such as a municipal fitness area, a park or a school yard, this equipment falls under EN 16630, the standard for permanently installed outdoor fitness equipment. Installation requires a safety zone of at least 1.50 m and an impact-attenuating surface conforming to EN 1177, with thickness sized to the free height of fall. On private enclosed sites such as a military base, a company campus or a training box, the same requirements remain the reference for good practice.

Frequently asked questions
Is the bench suitable for beginners?
Yes. The leg brace and the fixed incline guide the movement, so core work is accessible and safe without particular supervision.
Why stainless steel outdoors?
Stainless steel resists corrosion without paint or a treatment that has to be renewed, including in a marine environment. It gives the longest service life under permanent exposure, with maintenance reduced to periodic cleaning.
