Description
All the marking at the foot of the track, none of it under the athlete. The S-003 puts its entire marking on a single numbered strip at the base of the lane. The running surface itself stays completely clear. It is the choice for facilities that want a readable distance without a single line crossing the contact area, which matters for barefoot work, lateral movement and floor exercises.
A single low strip, a clear running surface
The numbering sits on one low strip; no longitudinal line and no central graduation run across the lane. Coaches keep a distance reference at the foot of the track, while the surface stays neutral for drills that use the whole width. The marking is integrated into the product during manufacture, so it does not wear off, and length and width are made to measure.
Materials and installation
Pro-quality artificial turf, 16 mm fibre height, intended for intensive indoor use. Loose-lay installation or perimeter fixing on a hard, flat floor: concrete, tiles or existing rubber tiles. Maintenance is vacuuming, periodic brushing of the fibres and washing with water and a neutral detergent.
The S-003 belongs to the numbered artificial turf tracks category. For the machine areas and drop zones bordering the lane, see the rubber gym flooring tiles.

Who is it for?
Barefoot and floor work: nothing under the hands and feet. With no line crossing the lane, the surface stays uniform for ground work, crawling patterns, mobility and stretching. The distance reference remains available at the base strip when a drill needs it.
Lateral movement and agility: full width usable. Shuffles, cutting drills and multidirectional work use the whole lane rather than following a corridor. Nothing on the surface suggests a single running direction.
CrossFit boxes and HYROX gyms: a discreet distance reference. The numbered strip at the foot of the lane lets a coach announce a distance and set the start point without turning the floor into a graphic. Sled push, sled pull and carries run on a clear surface.
Studios and multi-purpose rooms: a neutral surface. When the same area hosts conditioning, group classes and individual work, an unmarked lane ages better visually than a heavily printed floor and adapts to changes in programming.
What to know before ordering
The price is per square metre, not per linear metre. A lane 15 m long and 2 m wide is 30 m2. Calculate the real area before comparing quotations.
The marking is built in, not applied. The numbered strip is part of the surface: it does not wear off, but it cannot be changed after delivery. Approve the position of the strip and the distances before production starts.
Turf does not take prolonged static loads. Fibres compress under racks, machines or anything left standing on them. Keep the lane free of fixed equipment and use rubber tiles for machine areas and drop zones.
Fibre composition, backing, weight per m2 and fire rating are not published. These figures affect delivery logistics and compliance in public-access buildings. Ask for the full technical data sheet if your project goes before a safety commission.
Frequently asked questions
Why choose a track without lane lines?
Because a line on the running surface is only useful if every drill follows it. For barefoot work, lateral movement and floor exercises, a clear surface is more versatile; the numbered strip at the base still gives the distance reference.
Is the 1 m width option available on the S-003?
No. That option does not apply to this reference. State the width you need when requesting a quotation and we will confirm what is feasible in production.
Is the track delivered in one piece?
Packaging depends on the dimensions ordered: beyond a certain length it is delivered in several widths to be joined on site. Send us your dimensions for the exact packaging of your configuration.
Can it be laid over existing rubber tiles?
Yes, on a hard and flat substrate: concrete, tiles or rubber tiles. Flatness is the critical point, since any irregularity in the floor shows through and is felt underfoot.
Does it suit sled work?
Yes. Sled runners slide in a controlled, repeatable way on the fibres, and the clear surface means no marking is worn by repeated passes along the same line.
Ordering and quotation
The S-003 is sold by the square metre at 63.70 EUR excluding VAT per m2, cut to your length and width. Send us your lane dimensions and the position you want for the numbered strip and request a free quotation: we will confirm the area to order, the packaging and the delivery terms for your country.
