TRAINER 02 street workout park certified to EN 16630

The TRAINER 02 street workout park brings a double pull up zone, parallel bars and wall bars together in one steel structure certified to EN 16630 by TUV Rheinland. Combining three station types on one frame is what allows a small municipal site to offer a complete calisthenics circuit.

The two pull up zones give different grip widths and bar heights, so a group can work simultaneously and users of different heights each find a bar they can reach. The parallel bars cover dips, support holds and leg raises, and the wall bars add stretching, hanging core work and assisted mobility exercises. Between them the structure trains arms, legs, waist, abdominals, back and chest, and it improves joint mobility and cardio respiratory condition when used as a circuit.

Construction is high quality tubular steel, shot blasted, galvanised, then finished with a double coat of polyester paint for resistance to UV, corrosion and impact. The difficulty level is rated medium and the structure is modular, so further TRAINER stations can be combined with it later. Colours are yellow in RAL 1018 and 7004, graphite in RAL 7016 and 9006, orange in RAL 2000 and 9006, or lime in RAL 6018 and 9006, with other RAL shades quoted on request.

Siting a street workout park

EN 16630 governs permanently installed outdoor fitness equipment, and the safety zone it requires is set out on the siting plan supplied with the structure rather than derived from the footprint. Keep the zone clear of paths, benches, planting and lighting columns, and specify an impact attenuating surface under and around the equipment to EN 1177, with the thickness determined by the free fall height.

Anchoring is by base plates cast into concrete foundations or fixed to an existing slab. Because the range is modular, plan the position with future stations in mind: adding to a line is straightforward, adding around a structure already boxed in by paths is not. A siting study and an anchoring plan are prepared from your site drawing and issued with the quotation at no cost.
