Description
The Premium black-and-white rubber tile pack covers 1 m2 with four 50 x 50 cm connector-joined tiles: a 20 mm speckled PU-bound rubber floor, certified EN 1177 for fall protection, usable indoors and out. Price: 36 EUR excluding VAT per m2 (pack of 4 tiles).
A speckled finish that works for you
Against plain black flooring, the black-and-white speckle changes both the look and the upkeep of a room. It is the finish of high-end strength zones and design home gyms — and it hides what plain surfaces show: dust, chalk and light scuffs disappear into the pattern, so the floor looks clean longer between maintenance rounds. Combined with plain black tiles, the speckled packs also zone a floor visually without any painted markings.
The 50 x 50 format: one-person installation
Each tile weighs about 4 kg — 16 kg per square metre — so a single person can lay an entire floor without help, where 100 x 100 cm tiles at 16 to 19 kg each usually take two. The compact format follows L-shaped rooms, corners and narrow strips with minimal cutting, the supplied connectors lock tiles in alignment so the floor cannot creep, and a damaged square is replaced individually instead of a full square metre.
PU-bound granules, certified for falls
Unlike compressed SBR slabs, these tiles bind each recycled rubber granule in polyurethane resin: a cohesive, crumble-resistant structure whose open texture lets air and moisture pass — useful over slightly damp garage or basement slabs — and whose PU binder inherently resists UV, frost and water for outdoor use. The tile is certified EN 1177 (impact absorption for playground surfacing) and CE marked, produced under ISO 9001, which extends its use to children’s play areas, nurseries and multi-purpose spaces.

Frequently asked questions
What do the connectors change compared with loose-lay tiles?
Alignment over time. Edge-to-edge tiles drift progressively under traffic; connector-joined tiles hold their grid, which matters most in small formats where joints are four times more numerous.
Can it be installed outdoors or on a damp slab?
Yes. The PU binder resists UV, frost and water, and the open granule structure lets moisture breathe through rather than trap beneath — terraces, balconies and garages included.
Does EN 1177 make it suitable for play areas?
Yes, within the fall-height logic of the standard: it is certified for impact absorption, which is why it also serves nurseries and mixed family spaces. Ask us to match the thickness to your required fall height.
