Description
The O Live Pro Series Multipower is a guided-bar smith machine rated for a maximum load of 300 kg. The frame is built from semi-elliptical tube in 75 x 118 x 3 mm, the bar runs on hard-chrome ground steel guides, and the patented hook catch locks the bar with a single wrist movement. CE marked to EN ISO 20957. Professional price: 2,450 EUR excluding VAT.
Heavy loading without a spotter
The reason a smith machine belongs on a commercial floor is not that it is easier, it is that it lets a member squat or press near their limit with no training partner present. Two features carry that: the patented hook device, which racks the bar with a wrist rotation rather than a full reposition, and the anti-drop safety mechanism, which holds the bar if the lift fails.
- Maximum load capacity 300 kg
- Patented hook catch, bar secured with a single wrist movement
- Integrated anti-drop safety mechanism
- Hard-chrome ground steel guides for smooth, consistent travel
- Integrated counterweight, reducing wear on the moving components
- Six plate storage horns in hard chrome
- Non-slip rubber bases for stability under heavy loading
Exercises covered
Squats, deadlifts, shoulder press, bench press, shrugs, calf raises and split squats all run on the guided bar. The controlled path suits beginners learning a movement pattern and advanced users pushing load, which is what makes the station useful across a whole membership rather than to one segment of it.
Frame and finish
The chassis uses semi-elliptical tube in 75 x 118 x 3 mm, a section chosen for rigidity under eccentric loading. The finish is anti-corrosion epoxy powder. The machine is CE marked and built to EN ISO 20957, the European standard for stationary training equipment.

Frequently asked questions
What does the patented hook device change in practice?
Racking a conventional smith bar requires lifting and rotating it into a fixed slot, which is exactly the movement a user cannot perform reliably at the end of a hard set. The patented catch engages with a simple wrist rotation at any point in the travel, so the bar can be secured instantly wherever the lift stops.
Is the counterweight important?
Yes, for two reasons. It lowers the effective starting weight of the bar, so the load selected is closer to the load felt, and it reduces the impact and wear on the guides and bearings over years of use.
What floor preparation is recommended?
With 300 kg of possible load concentrated over a small footprint, a rubber floor of at least 20 mm is recommended under the machine and the working area, both to protect the slab and to reduce noise transmission.
