O'Live Pro Series Incline Bench

The bench decides the exercise

The incline press is the movement that builds the upper portion of the pectorals, along with the anterior deltoids and the triceps. It is also the press that punishes a poor bench: if the frame flexes, if the seat slips or if the bar supports are marginal, the user compensates by shortening the range and the exercise stops doing what it was chosen for.

This bench is dimensioned so that none of that happens. 135 kg of frame in 50 x 120 x 3 mm oval tube means the structure does not move under a heavy set, and the rigidity is what allows a member to press to full range with confidence.

The parallelogram seat mechanism is the detail that separates this bench from a pin adjusted one: the seat angle changes with the backrest, so the user does not slide down the pad as the incline steepens.

Is the bar included?

No. The 1,435 EUR excluding VAT covers the bench. Olympic bars, discs, collars and storage are quoted separately so the tonnage can be matched to your membership.

Why are the bar supports stainless steel?

Bar supports take repeated metal on metal contact every time a bar is racked and unracked. Stainless steel at 8 mm resists that wear and does not show the corrosion that painted supports develop once the coating is chipped by the knurling.

How much space should be allowed?

The bench occupies 161 x 172 cm, but the working area is larger: allow clear space at both ends of the bar for loading and a spotting position behind the head of the bench. Send us your floor plan and we will position it realistically.
