Description
The O’Live Pro Series power rack measures 127 x 131 x 232 cm, weighs 175 kg and is rated for a 300 kg load, on a frame built from 50 x 120 x 3 mm oval steel tube. Oval section is the detail that matters here: for the same wall thickness it resists bending in the loaded plane better than round tube, which is what keeps the uprights rigid when a heavy bar is racked off centre. The rack is CE marked and declared to EN ISO 20957.

300 kg capacity and what it unlocks
A 300 kg rating puts this rack above the general purpose category. It covers the working range of powerlifters and competitive athletes, not just the average member, which is why it is specified for strength focused clubs, performance centres and military or emergency service training rooms rather than for hotel fitness suites. Adjustable safety bars set at the right height let an athlete fail a heavy squat or bench press alone, which is the single feature that makes unsupervised heavy training defensible.
- 300 kg load capacity for heavy squat, press and bench work
- 50 x 120 x 3 mm oval tube uprights for maximum rigidity
- Adjustable safety bars set to the athlete height and movement
- 8 mm bar supports for a firm, stable rack position
- Non slip rubber base reducing vibration and floor marking
- 1.66 m2 footprint, 175 kg self supporting structure
Layout, floor and inspection
Reserve a working area of about 3 x 3 m. The frame takes 127 x 131 cm, but a 220 cm Olympic bar overhangs on both sides and the athlete needs room to walk it out and to load plates. Overall height is 232 cm, so allow a clear ceiling of 260 cm or more for overhead pressing inside the uprights.
Loaded to capacity the assembly approaches 475 kg on a small base, so verify the permissible floor load anywhere above ground level and fit rubber tiles of at least 30 mm under the rack and the lifting area. Weekly checks should cover the J cup liners, the safety bar pins and the frame bolts, all of which loosen under repeated impact from racked bars.
Frequently asked questions
Does the rack need to be bolted down?
At 175 kg with a non slip rubber base it is designed to stand free. Anchoring is a site decision based on the flooring, the training intensity and whether the facility is supervised.
What is included?
The rack with its adjustable safety bars and bar supports. Barbells, plates and benches are quoted separately, so confirm they appear on your quotation when equipping a room from scratch.
What does the EN ISO 20957 declaration cover?
It is the European standard series for stationary training equipment, covering general safety requirements and test methods, and the rack is CE marked against it. The specific use class applicable to your configuration is confirmed at quotation.
