Description
The 100 mm Extreme rubber tile is the thickest individual tile format on the French market: a 50 x 50 cm, 10 cm thick block of PU-bound SBR granules, certified EN 1177 for a 3 m critical fall height and dimensioned for drops above 200 kg. Price: 34.50 EUR excluding VAT per tile (138 EUR per m2), minimum order 80 tiles (20 m2).
Three problems standard thicknesses cannot solve
The 100 mm exists for the situations where even 40 or 60 mm floors give up. First, extreme load drops: strongman implements and competition powerlifting bars above 200 kg, whose impact energy punches through standard tiles into the slab. Second, high play structures: with an EN 1177 critical fall height of 3 metres, the tile covers playground equipment that ordinary safety tiles cannot. Third, permanent outdoor installation in freeze-thaw climates, where its porous structure survives cycles that crack denser slabs.
Engineered for outdoor permanence
The tile combines high-density recycled SBR granules with a polyurethane binder, a certified R10 slip rating (DIN 51130) that stays reliable in wet conditions, an anti-fade UV treatment, and a cellular underside that drains water instead of trapping it. At 18 kg per 0.25 m2 tile, it loose-lays with complete stability — no adhesive needed — and cleans with a water jet, broom or vacuum. Five colours are available: black, red, green, grey and sand.
Ordering logic
The compact 50 x 50 cm format keeps each 10 cm thick tile at a handleable 18 kg. The reference ships from 80 tiles (20 m2), which corresponds to the typical minimum zone — a strongman drop area or the safety surface under one climbing structure.

Frequently asked questions
When is 100 mm actually necessary?
When drops exceed 200 kg, when play equipment reaches 3 m of fall height, or when the installation lives outdoors through freeze-thaw winters. Below those thresholds, 40 or 60 mm tiles do the job for far less per square metre.
Does it need to be glued down?
No. Eighteen kilograms per quarter square metre keeps the floor immobile under training and play; the draining underside evacuates rainwater on outdoor sites.
Can colours be combined?
Yes — the five colours share identical dimensions, so zones and markings can be built into the floor plan. We compose the layout with you at quote stage.
