Description
The Eight bends steel into a single continuous loop and hangs a rope tunnel inside it – a compact, sculptural module that brings crawling, climbing, sitting and sensory play to small playgrounds. At 6.9 x 4.6 m, it slots into spaces where conventional multi-play units cannot go.
One loop, many ways to play
The suspended rope tunnel, floored with an 8 mm rubber mat, is the heart of the module: children aged 5 to 14 crawl, balance and perch along its length, feeling the tunnel respond to every movement. A steel ladder provides the way up, a seat mounted on steel rings offers a swaying rest, and two visual activity panels engage waiting children at ground level. The looped frame reads as public sculpture – a plus for town squares and residential courtyards.
