Description
The Crossover Smith brings a facing pulley crossover, a Smith machine and a monkey ladder together in one structure. Cable crossovers isolate individual muscle groups through a full arc of movement, the Smith side gives a guided bar for assisted pressing and squatting, and the overhead ladder adds a bodyweight element. One frame therefore covers isolation, guided compound lifting and functional work for the upper and lower body.
The combination answers a practical problem. A crossover and a Smith machine bought separately occupy two footprints and two budget lines, and in most rooms one of them ends up being dropped. Combining them means a member can move from a guided squat or bench to cable flys and standing crossovers without leaving the station, which keeps traffic moving and makes the whole structure the anchor of a training zone rather than a single exercise.
Light In Fitness builds this structure with high quality steel and upholstery and backs it with longer guarantees than are usual in the category, which is the practical measure of how the equipment is expected to perform over its life. Reliability and rigidity are the criteria the frame is designed against, since a guided bar system that flexes is worse than no guidance at all.

Positioning a combined structure on the floor
A structure of this kind should be placed where it can be approached from several sides, because three stations means three simultaneous users if the layout allows it and one user if it does not. The crossover area between the columns has to stay permanently clear, the Smith side needs space for a bench and for plate handling, and the monkey ladder needs clear headroom and a clear landing area beneath it. Sizing the installation from the frame dimensions alone reliably produces a station that only works for one person at a time. Anchoring and floor protection should be settled with the layout: a guided bar structure transmits load into the slab and the surface underneath the Smith side takes repeated plate contact. Our team draws the zone from your floor plan free of charge before quotation.
Frequently asked questions
Can several members use the structure at once?
Yes, provided the layout gives clear approach to each station. That is the main reason to size the installation from the working zones rather than from the frame footprint.
Is a bench included?
A bench is required to use the Smith side for pressing and is quoted separately so the specification matches your existing equipment. We can add it to the quotation.
What does the guarantee cover?
Light In Fitness offers longer guarantees than are typical in this category, with cover varying by range and up to 20 years on steel structures. The exact terms for this structure are confirmed on the quotation.
