Description
The Ariel proves that a genuine climbing net does not need a large plot. On a footprint of just 2.5 x 2.5 m, its enveloping braided net stretches around a two-metre central mast, giving children a real vertical playground – climbing, hanging and exploring – in spaces where larger structures simply will not fit.
The small-site specialist of the rope spider range
Anchored by four main cables with adjustable galvanised tensioners, the Ariel shares the exact architecture of its larger siblings – Neso, Dione, Japet and Umbriel – scaled to compact courtyards, residential play corners and small municipal squares. The 0.75 m free fall height and 5.6 x 5.6 m safety zone keep surfacing scope and cost proportionate to the site.

Frequently asked questions
Is the Ariel too small for older children?
No – the recommended range runs to 14 years. The compact net actually increases the density of holds and route changes, so the climb stays engaging even for confident climbers.
How does it compare with the Hermippe dome?
Both target small sites, but they play differently: the Hermippe is a low dome for climbing over, while the Ariel is a mast-and-net pyramid for climbing up – many projects pair the two.
What is included in a quotation?
Equipment, reinforced concrete anchoring, installation and, where needed, EN 1176-compliant safety surfacing across the 5.6 x 5.6 m zone.
