Description
This air tumbling track measures 20 m long by 2 m wide with a 20 cm thickness and holds its inflation for more than a week, so the blower is not needed during use. Staying inflated is the practical difference between a track a club actually uses and one that stays in the store cupboard.
An air track gives a dynamic take off surface that returns more energy than a sprung floor or a trampoline, so a gymnast jumps higher and lands with almost no joint loading. The surface stays flat and stable along its length, which is what allows the precise take offs a tumbling pass requires: contacts are limited to hands and feet, and the run is completed as a continuous sequence without a break in rhythm.
The 20 m length suits full tumbling passes rather than isolated skills, and the 2 m width gives room for a line that drifts. Beyond gymnastics the same surface is used by martial arts, tricking, parkour, breakdance and any discipline building acrobatic skill. The track is easily transportable, so it can be moved between halls or rolled away between sessions. Equipment is tested to SGS standards and carries a three year warranty. Other lengths, widths, thicknesses and colours are available.

Using an air track in a hall
A 20 m track needs a clear run of at least its own length plus a landing area at the end, and enough width around it for coaches to stand. In a shared sports hall this usually means agreeing a position that does not cross the marked courts, and confirming that the floor surface will not abrade the underside.
Storage is the other consideration. The track rolls up but is bulky, so plan where it goes between sessions before it arrives. A siting and handling plan is issued with the quotation once we have your hall drawing. We deliver to France, Belgium, Switzerland and Luxembourg, quote export per project, and dispatch within five to ten working days from stock.
Frequently asked questions
Does the blower have to run during use?
No. The track holds its pressure for more than a week, so it is inflated once and used through several sessions without the noise or the cable of a running blower.
Which disciplines use an air track?
Gymnastics and tumbling primarily, then martial arts, tricking, parkour, cheerleading and breakdance. Anything that builds acrobatic skill benefits from a surface that reduces landing loads.
Can other dimensions be supplied?
Yes. The range covers several lengths, widths and thicknesses, and colours can be specified. Tell us the hall dimensions and the discipline and we will quote the right format.
