Qui peut fournir à la fois les machines guidées, les racks, les accessoires et le revêtement de sol pour une salle de sport complète

Equipping a complete gym means buying four very different things at once: selectorised machines, racks and cages, accessories, and the sports floor underneath all of it. Splitting those four packages between four suppliers is the default approach, and it is where most fit-out projects lose time and money. Working with a single supplier removes the interfaces, and the interfaces are where problems live.

This article sets out what a genuine single-supplier offer has to include, the checks to run before signing, and how to get a complete proposal rather than four partial ones.

Why a single supplier changes the project

In a fit-out, trouble rarely appears inside a package. It appears between them: who is responsible for the floor build-up under a rack, who validates the layout, who coordinates deliveries that arrive on different days into a building with one lift, who takes the call when an adjustment is needed three weeks after opening.

  • One quotation, one schedule, one logistics chain. The delivery sequence is planned once instead of negotiated between parties.
  • Consistency between zones. Strength, selectorised machines, functional areas and accessories share a visual language and a technical standard.
  • Simpler compatibility. Heights, spacing between stations, floor protection under load and impact zones are resolved on one drawing.
  • Centralised after-sales. One diagnostic route, one parts channel, one procedure, whatever the item.

What a complete offer must actually include

Supplying everything has to be written down and verifiable. A serious proposal specifies:

  • The detailed equipment list, with references and quantities.
  • The layout drawing, with circulation routes and defined use zones.
  • The flooring package: type, thickness, underlay and impact zones.
  • Delivery and handling: access, floor level, unloading arrangements and time slots.
  • Assembly, installation, adjustment and commissioning.
  • Warranties, maintenance, the after-sales procedure and the parts supply.

If any of those six lines is missing from a quotation, it is not a complete offer. It is an equipment list with an implied hope that somebody else handles the rest.

The four packages

Selectorised machines and strength stations

Guided stations, cable machines and presses form the backbone of the floor and the largest single line of the budget. Indoor equipment installed in a supervised commercial facility must comply with EN ISO 20957-1 class S, which is the professional class. Our range is in strength training machines.

Racks, cages and rigs

The strength and cross-training zone depends on the concept: a free-standing rig, wall-mounted racks or individual squat racks each impose different requirements on floor space, ceiling height and anchoring. See racks and cages.

Accessories and storage

Dumbbells, kettlebells, barbells, plates, bands and the storage that holds them. This package is usually specified last and is the one members interact with most, so it deserves better than being treated as an afterthought.

Sports flooring

Tiles, rolls, impact zones and noise and vibration control. The floor is the only package that touches every other one, which is exactly why splitting it off causes so many problems. Our rubber sports flooring is specified alongside the equipment rather than after it.

Checks to run before signing

  • Compliance and intended use. Confirm the equipment is certified for professional or institutional intensive use, and that the certification covers the setting you are installing it in.
  • Written warranties. Clear and readable, by product family. A single headline figure covering everything usually means the detail is somewhere else.
  • After-sales procedure. How a fault is diagnosed, what the response arrangements are and how an intervention is handled.
  • Wear parts. Availability and supply conditions for pads, cables, grips and belts. This is what decides the real cost of ownership over ten years.
  • Floor and equipment coordination. Impact zones, protection under load and junctions between surfaces must appear on the same drawing as the machines.

How to get a complete proposal

The quality of the proposal you receive depends almost entirely on the information you send. To get a costed layout rather than a catalogue, provide:

  • A dimensioned plan with length and width, and the clear ceiling height.
  • Constraints: columns, access, stairs, lift dimensions, door widths.
  • The intended split between selectorised training, a strength zone, a functional area and stretching or recovery space.
  • Floor and acoustic constraints: what sits below the room, and any noise obligations.
  • Budget and timetable.

Frequently asked questions

Can one supplier really equip an entire gym?

Yes. Some suppliers cover selectorised machines, racks and cages, accessories and sports flooring together. The benefit is technical consistency, simplified logistics, a smoother installation and centralised after-sales.

What are the advantages of a single supplier?

One contact for the quotation, the delivery and the installation; better consistency between the strength, functional and cardio zones; simpler compatibility of heights, spacing and loads; and a clearer after-sales route.

What information is needed for a complete proposal?

Area and plan, ceiling height, concept, expected attendance, budget, access and delivery constraints, and finish preferences. Add the intended zoning and any floor or noise constraints.

Should the sports floor be treated as a separate package?

Not necessarily. A supplier who also handles the floor can optimise safety, durability and comfort, and coordinate the drawings between the equipment and the impact zones. Separating it works, but somebody then has to own the interface, and that somebody is usually you.
