Description
The luxe olympic squat rack is the structure only version of the range, in 316L marine grade stainless steel, intended for sites that already have a suitable sports surface. Leaving out the platform is what makes it the most direct route into outdoor barbell training.
The rack takes the bar at several heights for squats and presses, with the dimensioning and the execution of the luxe range: full stainless construction and a specification sized for free access rather than supervised use. Because there is no integral platform, it is installed onto the surface already in place, which suits a site that has invested in outdoor sports flooring and does not want to duplicate it.
316L is the marine grade of stainless steel, chosen for corrosion resistance in coastal air, chlorinated environments and salt laden atmospheres. It needs no coating and no repainting cycle, so maintenance is limited to cleaning and periodic inspection. The version with an integrated platform remains available for sites with no suitable surface.

Installation, safety zone and surfacing
In open access settings such as a municipal fitness area, a park or an institutional courtyard, the rack falls under EN 16630 for permanently installed outdoor fitness equipment, with a safety zone of at least 1.50 m and an impact attenuating surface to EN 1177 where the free fall height requires it. On closed private sites, a military base, a company or a box, these remain the reference for good practice.
Because this version has no platform, the existing surface has to be checked for suitability under barbell work: dropped loads are the test, not foot traffic. Where the surface does not qualify we quote bonded rubber tiles of 40 to 65 mm or the version with an integrated platform. Anchoring is by base plates cast into a concrete foundation or bolted to an existing slab. A siting study and an anchoring plan are prepared from your site drawing and issued with the quotation at no cost. We deliver to France, Belgium, Switzerland and Luxembourg, quote export per project, and dispatch within five to ten working days from stock.
Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between the luxe and cross competition ranges?
Both share the stainless execution for outdoor use. They differ in geometry and in the way the stations are configured, which we set out against your intended use at the quotation stage.
Can it be installed on an existing floor?
That is the purpose of the structure only version. The surface must be suitable for barbell work, which we verify during the siting study.
Does stainless steel need maintenance?
Cleaning and periodic inspection only. 316L needs no coating and no repainting, including in coastal and chlorinated environments.
