Description
This outdoor cross competition power rack is supplied as a cage alone, for sites that already have a suitable sports surface. Without an integrated platform it installs directly on an existing floor, which shortens the works and lowers the cost of adding a strength post.
The cage secures squats, presses and bar racking at several heights, while the top bar takes pull ups and hanging work. Spacings and heights follow the competition standards of the range, so athletes training for competition work on the same geometry outdoors as they do indoors.
Stainless construction handles permanent exposure, with maintenance reduced to cleaning and checking the fixings. Where the existing surface is not rated for free weights, our platforms and impact attenuating tiles complete the installation; that check should be made before ordering the cage on its own.

When the cage only version is the right choice
Training boxes and clubs add the cage to a sports floor already in place. Barracks extend an existing strength area. Municipalities complete a training floor that has already been surfaced. Preparation centres multiply cage posts to remove the bottleneck that a single rack creates during group sessions.
In open access this equipment falls under EN 16630, requiring a peripheral safety zone of at least 1.50 metres and an EN 1177 compliant impact attenuating surface dimensioned to the free fall height; on enclosed private sites those requirements remain best practice. For the landing area Light In Fitness recommends its 40 to 65 mm impact attenuating tiles in bonded installation. Frequently asked questions
How do we know if our existing floor is suitable?
The surface must accept dropped loads and provide the impact attenuation required by the fall heights. Send photographs and the specification of the existing floor with the quotation request and our technical team confirms it, or proposes the platform version instead.
Is the platform version available?
Yes. Where the ground is not suitable, a rack supplied with an integrated weightlifting platform is the appropriate reference, and we quote both options side by side.
Are bars and plates included?
No. Bars, plates and accessories are quoted separately so the specification matches the discipline practised on site.
