Description
This outdoor power rack combines the competition range cage with an integrated weightlifting platform, in a stainless steel construction designed for permanent exposure. It transposes the central strength station of an indoor gym into an open air installation.
One position covers the whole of barbell training. The cage takes squats, presses and rack work with adjustable bar catches; the high bar adds pull ups and hanging work; the integrated platform receives deadlifts and Olympic lifts. That matters outdoors more than indoors, because a site cannot spread three separate stations across a courtyard the way a gym spreads them across a room, and because the platform defines a drop zone rather than leaving lifters to load a bar on paving or gravel.
The cross competition range reproduces the bar spacings and working heights of competition structures, so an athlete moves between the outdoor rack and an indoor competition setup without adjusting technique. Stainless steel eliminates every surface treatment cycle: maintenance is limited to cleaning and a periodic check of the assemblies, with no repainting and no corrosion at the plate contact points.

A four season strength station outdoors
Military bases specify this configuration because it gives a complete strength post that works in every season without a building. Boxes and clubs use it to create an outdoor strength zone to indoor standards, municipalities install it as the structuring element of a sports platform, and physical preparation centres value permanent access to free weights without a store issue procedure. The practical planning points are the same in each case: a concrete foundation sized for the rack and the platform, a defined drop zone with impact absorbing surfacing, plate storage on the structure so discs never sit on the ground, and a clear safety zone around the working faces. Light In Fitness, manufacturer and distributor in Tours since 2013, includes a free implantation study, delivery throughout France and installation by our own teams, with a professional warranty and wear parts available after the sale.
