What to know before ordering
7 mm is not an impact absorbing thickness. This tile is a finishing floor covering, not a protective floor against dropped loads. For weightlifting, barbell drops or rack zones you need a rubber tile of 20 to 40 mm. The two combine perfectly well in one facility, zone by zone.
Decorative finishes can vary slightly between production batches. On stone and marble effects a difference in tone between two production runs is possible. Order the complete surface in one go, cutting allowance included, rather than topping up later.
Allow for cutting waste and edges. A puzzle installation generates offcuts around the perimeter. Allow a margin over the theoretical surface and plan how the edges will be treated, where the interlocking teeth remain visible against the walls.
