Stainless steel outdoor preacher curl desk with dumbbell set

This outdoor preacher curl desk is supplied in stainless steel with 10, 20 and 30 kg dumbbells. Desk and weights together form a complete arm station in open access, covering the progression from beginner to experienced user.

The desk support is what makes the exercise work without supervision. Resting the upper arm on the pad fixes the elbow, which stops the swinging and hip drive that turn an unsupported curl into a back exercise. Correct execution follows from the equipment rather than from coaching, which is the only realistic approach in a public area.

Three weights give genuine range. Ten kilograms suits a first attempt or high repetition work, fifteen covers most regular users, and twenty serves trained users. Both the station and the dumbbells are executed in stainless steel for permanent open access, and maintenance is limited to cleaning and checking the storage cradles.

Technical specification

Free weights in a public area

Municipalities install this station to offer secured free weights in public access. Barracks use it for arm work with real loads rather than bodyweight substitutes. Campuses value a popular station with fast turnover. Residences provide free weight training without a gym building.

The question every buyer asks is what happens to the dumbbells overnight. Stainless weights are made for permanent exposure, and the cradles hold them in place; sites that prefer to remove them at closing simply store them and keep the desk usable for barbell or bodyweight work. In open access the equipment falls under EN 16630, with a peripheral safety zone of at least 1.50 metres and an EN 1177 compliant impact attenuating surface dimensioned to the free fall height. Light In Fitness, manufacturer and distributor in Tours since 2013, supports more than 2,500 customers and includes a free layout study, installation and a professional warranty. Delivery is quoted separately.
