Description
The Bench Press OG is an outdoor chest press station with adjustable resistance, built in S235 structural steel with a powder coated finish. It brings the horizontal pressing movement, the exercise most people recognise from an indoor gym, into a form that can be left outdoors permanently without a bar, plates or a spotter.
That last point is the practical argument. A free weight bench press in a public space is impossible: the bar walks, the plates disappear and nobody is there to spot a failed rep. A fixed path press with selectable resistance solves all three at once, which is why it is the station that gets used most in outdoor strength areas serving young adults.
The construction is designed for permanent exposure. The frame is S235 grade steel with a powder coated finish over its corrosion protection, plastic parts are moulded in Elastodur for impact resistance and long service life, and all fixings are galvanised so that the bolted connections resist rust and wear. Installation is straightforward on prepared foundations.

Professional use and siting
An outdoor press station is normally the anchor of a strength zone, so it is worth placing where it is visible and where a queue can form without blocking a path. It pairs naturally with a rowing or pull station so that pushing and pulling are balanced within the same area, and with a leg press to complete a three station circuit.
Where the equipment is installed in free public access, EN 16630 is the reference standard for permanently installed outdoor fitness equipment and sets the safety zone to keep clear around the station. The ground must be stable and level, and anchoring is on prepared foundations or an existing concrete slab. We issue the dimensions, safety zone and anchoring drawing with the layout study. Delivery covers France, Belgium, Switzerland and Luxembourg, with export quoted per project.
Frequently asked questions

No. Resistance is built into the machine and adjustable, so nothing loose is left on site.
Is it suitable for beginners?
Yes. The fixed movement path and the adjustable resistance make it usable from a first session without supervision.
What foundations are required?
Stable, level ground with anchoring on prepared foundations or an existing slab. The anchoring drawing is supplied with the layout study.
