Description
The Leg Press OG is an outdoor strength machine built on an S235 steel structure with a powder coated finish, Elastodur plastic components and galvanised fixings. It strengthens the legs through a guided, fluid movement with a load the user adjusts to their own level.
The material specification is the substance of this range. S235 structural steel gives the frame its rigidity, the powder coat protects it against weather and wear, Elastodur resists impact and temperature swings where plastic parts are unavoidable, and galvanised fixings prevent the corrosion that normally starts at the bolt heads. Those four choices are what determine whether an outdoor machine survives a decade.
For the user, the appeal of a leg press outdoors is that it is the one lower body exercise requiring no technique. The seat and the platform set the position, the movement is guided, and the resistance is selected before the set starts. That combination is why leg presses are used by people who would never approach free weights.

Using the OG range to build an outdoor gym
The OG machines share a common construction and a common visual language, so a site can assemble a coherent outdoor strength area from several references in the range rather than mixing suppliers. A leg press is usually the first lower body machine specified, alongside pressing and rowing stations for the upper body.
Plan the footprint of 1.98 by 1.09 metres plus the safety clearance required around a moving machine, and allow room in front of the seat for entry and exit. Foundations, anchoring and impact attenuating surfacing are established during the layout study and issued with the quotation. Light In Fitness manufactures the range and installs across France, with Belgium, Switzerland and Luxembourg covered as standard and export quoted per project.
Frequently asked questions
How is the resistance adjusted?
The load is set by the user before starting the set, which allows the same machine to serve a beginner and a trained user. Our technical team confirms the available range with the quotation.
Does the powder coating need renewing?
Not under normal conditions. The steel structure carries a twenty year warranty, and the galvanised fixings prevent corrosion starting at the fasteners, which is the usual failure point on coated outdoor equipment.
What surfacing is required underneath?
Impact attenuating surfacing is dimensioned according to the free fall height of the installed configuration. We specify it with the quotation, based on your site plan.
