Description
The Lexco LS-208 is a commercial incline bench with an integrated double bar rest, built on 105 x 50 mm oval steel tube with a 3 mm wall. It measures 187.5 x 179.5 x 150.5 cm, weighs 99 kg and is supplied by Light In Fitness at 1,680 EUR excluding VAT.
A self-contained incline pressing station
This is not a bench that needs a rack. The LS-208 carries its own uprights, a double bar rest and two plate posts, so it occupies one position on the floor and requires nothing else to be usable. For a club that wants to add incline pressing without rebuilding the free-weight zone, that removes the layout problem entirely: you place it, you load it, it works.
- Double bar rest for incline and flat pressing
- Two integrated plate storage posts
- Two step-up spotting supports at the head end
- Ten-position gas-strut backrest adjustment
- Height-adjustable seat
Why the incline angle matters
Flat pressing loads the sternal head of the pectoralis major. Tilting the torso shifts recruitment towards the clavicular head and the anterior deltoid, which is the part of the chest that most trainees under-develop. A ten-step gas strut lets a coach set the angle precisely rather than choosing between two fixed holes, so the same frame covers a shallow incline for volume work and a steep one approaching a seated shoulder press.
Construction and comfort
The frame is high-tensile steel in oval section, dimensioned for continuous commercial use. The pad uses contoured memory foam, which spreads load across the back rather than concentrating it on the shoulder blades during heavy sets. Gas-strut adjustment means the backrest can be changed under partial load without lifting it, and the step supports at the head end give a spotter a stable position instead of an awkward stance over the bar.

Frequently asked questions
Which facilities does the LS-208 suit?
Commercial gyms, military and emergency service training rooms, hotel and residence fitness suites, and physical preparation centres. At 99 kg it is heavy enough to stay put under a loaded bar and is not intended as a portable bench.
Can it be used flat as well as inclined?
Yes. The lowest setting of the gas strut brings the pad to a flat pressing position, and the double bar rest covers both. In practice most clubs set it at a shallow incline and keep a dedicated flat bench alongside, because switching the angle between sets slows down a busy station.
Do the plate posts hold Olympic discs?
Yes, the two integrated posts take standard Olympic plates. Keeping the plates on the frame rather than on a separate tree is what keeps the surrounding floor clear in a tight free-weight area.
