Description

The most comfortable reference in the range: 20 mm of thickness over 160 cm, with integrated eyelets and a moulded anti-slip surface.

20 mm gym mat with moulded surface, 160 x 60 cm format

This is the mat for facilities where the mat is a workstation in its own right rather than a class accessory: physiotherapy practices, rehabilitation rooms, high-end Pilates studios. Twenty millimetres change what prolonged kneeling and bony contact points feel like, and the moulded surface holds the body in position instead of letting it slide on the first push.

Who it is for

Physiotherapy, rehabilitation and physical preparation. Supervised floor work needs a mat that is stable, cleanable and wide enough. The 60 cm width suits prolonged lying work, and the extra thickness is what makes a long session on the knees tolerable.

Pilates and mobility studios: comfort as part of the offer. On mat work sessions of forty-five minutes or more, the surface under the client is part of what they are paying for. A 20 mm mat with a moulded grip is noticed, in a way a thin mat is also noticed, for the opposite reason.

Group classes and studios: a self-service mat fleet. Formats from 120 to 180 cm cover the whole range of floor classes: core work, stretching, Pilates, strengthening, mobility. A uniform fleet makes storage, counting and unit replacement straightforward.

Branding that stays visible. A logo, printed or laser marked depending on the model, turns a consumable into a brand carrier seen at every class and in every photograph taken of the room.

What to know before ordering

The price is per mat, not per square metre. Each reference is one mat, in a given format and thickness. Budget on the number of mats in the fleet, not on a surface area.

Thickness and comfort: 10 mm or 20 mm. 10 mm suits core work, stretching and ordinary floor classes. 20 mm gives more comfort for prolonged work on the knees or on bony contact points, at the cost of greater storage volume. Plan the storage before ordering a large fleet of 20 mm mats.

Customisation drives lead time and minimum order. A printed or laser marked logo means a dedicated production run. Send us your vector logo and we will confirm the lead time, the minimum quantity and the finish that apply to your order.

Material, density and fire classification are not published. Those figures can be requested in a public-access venue. Ask us for the full technical data sheet if your facility is subject to that requirement.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between the smooth and the moulded surface?

The smooth surface with rounded edges takes a printed logo and gives a plain, even finish. The moulded surface has an anti-slip relief, hanging eyelets and laser marking. The moulded model hangs up and dries faster after cleaning; the smooth model gives a cleaner finish.

Are the eyelets included?

Yes. They are fitted as standard on moulded surface mats, including this one. On smooth surface mats they are a paid option.

Why does hanging matter in a clinical setting?

Because a mat wiped down and laid flat dries slowly on its underside. Hung by its eyelets, both faces dry, which is what allows a mat to be cleaned between two patients without going back into use damp.

Which format should I choose for a group class?

140 x 60 cm and 160 x 60 cm are the most versatile formats for adult floor work. 120 x 50 cm stays compact for tight spaces and circuits; 180 x 60 cm suits taller users and full lying work.

How do you store a fleet of mats?

Two complementary solutions: the storage unit, which takes twenty 10 mm mats, and wall brackets, which hang mats fitted with eyelets and free up floor space. Both are part of this range.
