Description

Twenty millimetres and a full 60 cm of width: the mat members stop complaining about.

20 mm moulded surface gym mat, 120 x 60 cm

The 120 x 60 cm in 20 mm combines the comfortable 60 cm width with the thickness that protects the contact points. It is the compromise format for a studio that wants to move upmarket on comfort without going to the large formats and the storage bulk that comes with them.

The moulded face carries a non-slip relief and the mat has hanging eyelets built in from new, which is what makes a hanging storage system possible and lets the mat dry properly after cleaning rather than sitting damp in a stack.

Who it is for

Group exercise and studios: a self-service mat fleet. Formats from 120 to 180 cm cover the whole range of floor-based classes: core work, stretching, Pilates, strengthening, mobility. A consistent fleet makes storage, counting and unit-by-unit replacement straightforward.

Weights rooms: the stretching and core zone. An individual mat avoids direct contact with the gym floor and improves perceived hygiene. It is a low-cost item that carries real weight in member satisfaction.

Physiotherapy, rehabilitation and strength and conditioning. Supervised floor work needs a mat that is stable, cleanable and wide enough. The 60 cm widths suit prolonged work lying down.

Branding to match the facility. A logo, printed or engraved depending on the model, turns a consumable into a visible brand carrier at every class and in the facility’s own marketing images.

What to know before ordering

The price is per mat, not per square metre. Each reference is one mat in a given format and thickness. The budget is worked out from the number of mats in the fleet, not from a surface area.

Thickness and comfort: 10 mm or 20 mm. The 10 mm suits core work, stretching and routine floor classes. The 20 mm gives better comfort for prolonged work on the knees or on bony contact points, at the cost of greater storage bulk. On a fleet of fifty mats that bulk is a real planning constraint, not a detail.

Customisation drives lead time and minimum order. A printed or engraved logo means a dedicated production run. Send us your vector logo to find out the lead time, the minimum quantity and the finish that apply to your order.

Material, density and fire classification are not published. These figures can be requested in buildings open to the public. Ask us for the full technical data sheet if your facility is subject to that requirement.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between the smooth surface and the moulded surface?

The smooth surface with rounded edges takes a printed logo and has a plain finish. The moulded surface has a non-slip relief, hanging eyelets and laser marking. The moulded model hangs up and dries faster after cleaning; the smooth model gives a crisper finish.

Are the eyelets included?

They are built in from new on the moulded surface mats. On smooth surface mats they are an option charged at 1.40 EUR excluding VAT per mat.

Which format should I choose for a group class?

The 140 x 60 cm and the 160 x 60 cm are the most versatile formats for an adult doing floor work. The 120 x 50 cm stays compact for tight spaces and circuits; the 180 x 60 cm suits taller members and full lying-down work. This 120 x 60 cm sits between the two, keeping the full 60 cm width in a compact length.

How do I store a fleet of mats?

Two complementary solutions: the storage unit, which takes twenty 10 mm mats, and wall brackets, which hang mats by their eyelets and free up floor space. Both are in this range. Note that the twenty-mat capacity is quoted for 10 mm mats, so confirm the real capacity for 20 mm mats before ordering the unit.

What maintenance does it need?

Wipe with soapy water or a compatible surface disinfectant, then dry flat or hanging. In shared use, cleaning after each session is the recommended practice.

Ask for a quotation

Compare formats and thicknesses in the moulded surface mats range and plan the floor underneath from the rubber gym flooring tiles listing. Then request a quotation with your fleet size and your logo file.
