Description
Rocking play is usually a solo pleasure – the Gondola makes it a crew activity. Three and a half metres long and mounted on eight maintenance-free metal-rubber joints, this large oscillating unit lets several children ride together, holding the ropes as the platform swings beneath them in a smooth collective motion.
Shared motion, shared laughter
Group rocking creates a different kind of play: children coordinate, negotiate the rhythm and pull each other into the game. The 2.54 m frame with its braided rope holds gives riders of different sizes something to grip at their own height, while the anti-slip sheet platform keeps footing secure through every swing.

Frequently asked questions
Why eight joints instead of two?
The eight metal-rubber joints spread the loads of several simultaneous riders and produce the Gondola’s characteristic smooth, damped swing – with nothing to lubricate or service.
What surfacing does the Gondola require?
An impact-attenuating surface rated for the 1.0 m free fall height must cover the 6.5 x 2.75 m safety space; we quote unit and surfacing together.
Where does it fit in a play-area plan?
As the social centrepiece of a rocking zone – typically alongside individual springers such as the Surfboard, Ball and Tube from the same range.
