Description
The Fitness Tech F30 multipower Smith machine combines a central high and low pulley at 1:1 ratio with lateral pulleys at 2:1, on a 520 kg structure. That dual transmission is the point of the machine: the central line gives direct load for intensive work, while the side stations give the longer, progressive movement suited to controlled exercises. A dedicated central pulldown bar secures back training without adding a separate station, and the 200 kg of selectable weight, in two columns of 100 kg, covers the requirements of experienced lifters.
The guided Olympic bar is included and weighs 20 kg, with approximately 270 kg of discs able to be loaded onto it, and 19 locking positions along the rails. The pec deck function is rated at 200 kg. At 520 kg the structure is heavy enough to stay stable under load and through continuous daily traffic, which is the practical difference between a club machine and a lighter one.

Professional use and configuration
A dual ratio machine solves a real programming problem. Members doing heavy pulldowns and rows want the load transmitted directly, so they can steer progression to the kilogram; members doing controlled shoulder and arm work want the longer, smoother travel of a reduced ratio. Putting both on one frame means a single station serves the whole range of a club’s training without the compromise of choosing one ratio for everything.
The central pulldown bar is worth noting in a floor plan, because it removes the need for a separate lat pulldown station in a small or medium gym. Combined with the guided bar for squats and presses and the pec deck function, the F30 covers most of the exercise catalogue that would otherwise need three or four pieces. At 520 kg for the structure alone, plus 200 kg of stacks and any discs, confirm the floor build up before installing above ground level and plan the delivery route in advance.
Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between the F30 and the F28 Pro?
Both share the 520 kg structure and 200 kg of selectable weight. The F30 adds a 1:1 central pulley and a central pulldown bar; the F28 Pro includes a pec deck and remains entirely at 2:1 ratio.
Is the leg press accessory compatible?
Yes. The F30 accepts the F30/F40 leg press accessory (FT-28714) and the F series front seat, both fitted with quick fixings and quotable with the machine.
Can you advise on the layout?
