Description
The Bodytone RED POW Z is a 1200 mm EZ curl bar weighing 10 kg, shaped to give a more natural wrist and elbow position on arm exercises. The Z profile angles the hands slightly inwards, which reduces the strain a straight bar places on the wrist during curls and on the elbow during triceps extensions.
At 10 kg and 1200 mm it is a light, compact bar. That matters in two situations: teaching a movement to a beginner, where the bar itself should not be the limiting load, and technical accessory work by experienced users who need small total loads with precise control. The compact length also makes it usable in a studio or a hotel gym where a full length bar cannot be handled safely.
The bar is made from alloy steel for regular use and takes standard 50 mm Olympic plates. The red finish is durable and, in a facility that colour codes its bars, immediately identifiable on the rack.

Building a bar inventory for a professional room
A strength room is judged partly on how many people can train at once, and short bars are what allow the accessory stations to work while the platforms are occupied. Two or three EZ bars alongside the Olympic bars keep the arm and shoulder work off the racks.
Colour coding is the practical part. When bars are identifiable at a glance by weight and type, they are returned to the right rack and the competition bars are not used for rack work. Coloured bars are available across lengths and weights so a facility can build a coherent set.
Storage matters as much as the bar itself. A vertical or horizontal bar rack keeps EZ bars off the floor, protects the knurling and the finish from impacts, and makes the inventory countable at a glance during a stock check. We quote racks and storage furniture with the bars for a new facility.
Frequently asked questions
Does the bar take Olympic plates?
Yes, the sleeves accept standard 50 mm bore plates, including bumper plates.
Who is a 10 kg bar for?
Beginners learning a movement pattern, and experienced users doing technical accessory work where the total load must stay low and precise.
Why an EZ profile rather than a straight bar?
The angled grip positions the wrist and elbow more naturally, which reduces joint strain on curls and extensions.
