Description
The Bodytone 10 kg medicine ball with handle is the heaviest load in the range, intended for maximal swings and rotations by trained athletes. The handle is what makes the weight usable: at 10 kg a smooth ball becomes difficult to control at speed, and the grip keeps the trajectory of a swing predictable.
A medicine ball is a tool for controlled loaded work, rotations, passes, dynamic core bracing and paired exercises. It is not a slam ball, which is built for full power floor impacts, and it is not a wall ball, whose larger diameter suits throws to a target. The compact format is what allows close range and rotational work at this weight.
In a complete inventory this load follows the 9 kg step. Balls are sold individually and a full set is quoted per project, which is the usual approach when a box or a functional area is equipped from scratch.

Heavy loads in a functional area
Above 8 kg a medicine ball changes function. It stops being a conditioning tool for a whole class and becomes a strength implement for a small number of trained users, which changes how many units a facility buys: one or two of the heaviest loads against six or eight of the mid range weights.
Plan the storage accordingly. Heavy balls belong at the bottom of a rack, close to the area where swings are performed, and the floor around that area should be a rubber tile of adequate thickness rather than a thin training mat.
Frequently asked questions
Why a handle at this weight?
The handle keeps the ball under control during fast swings and rotations, where a smooth 10 kg ball is difficult to hold at the end of the movement.
Can it be thrown against a wall or the floor?
No. Use wall balls for target throws and slam balls for floor impacts. This ball is for controlled loaded movement.
Is a rack available for storage?
Storage furniture for functional accessories is quoted with the equipment. Tell us the inventory you plan to hold and we will size the rack with the quotation.
