Description
The Bodytone FR13 holds eighteen aerobic steps on a single vertical rack measuring 125.5 x 70 x 218 cm, with a 160 kg load rating and a rack weight of 39 kg. Eighteen is a full class, which is the point: the entire kit for a step session lives on 0.88 m2 of studio floor instead of stacked along a wall.
Turnaround time between classes
In a busy studio the constraint is rarely the equipment, it is the ten minutes between the end of one class and the start of the next. A vertical rack that a member of staff can wheel a stack off in one movement is worth more to a timetable than any feature on the steps themselves.
- Capacity: 18 aerobic steps, stacked vertically

- 218 cm high on a 125.5 x 70 cm base, 0.88 m2 of floor

- Suited to group exercise studios and multi-purpose sports halls

Height, ceiling and stability
At 218 cm the FR13 is a tall unit, and that is the specification to check first against your studio. Confirm the ceiling height and, more importantly, the height of any doorway the loaded rack has to pass through, because a step rack that cannot leave the room is a step rack that has to be unloaded every time the studio changes function.
Stability comes from the 125.5 x 70 cm base, which is deliberately deeper than the steps require. Load from the bottom up and the centre of gravity stays low even with all eighteen positions filled. The 160 kg rating comfortably covers a full set of standard aerobic steps with risers.
Robot welding on a 1.5 mm wall section is what makes a light frame rigid: consistent penetration at every joint, on a tube thin enough that hand welding would risk burn-through. Browse the rest of the racks and cages range and the Bodytone functional accessories for group exercise rooms.
Frequently asked questions
Are steps included in the price?
No. 599 EUR excluding VAT covers the rack alone. Steps and risers are quoted separately, and quantity pricing applies when the rack and the class set are ordered together.
Will it take steps from another manufacturer?
Usually yes, since step platforms follow a broadly standard footprint. Riser height is the variable that changes the stack, so send us the model you use and we will confirm the capacity before quoting.
Can two racks serve a class of thirty?
Yes, and two racks positioned at opposite corners of the studio clear a class faster than one rack of double the size, because participants are not queueing at a single point. We plan the positions with the studio layout.
Tell us the class sizes you run, the step model you use and the studio dimensions, and we will return a storage plan with racks and equipment costed together. Quotations are issued within 24 to 72 hours.
