Description
The Bodytone EB04 is the flat utility bench — the simplest piece on the floor and the one no gym can run without. Dumbbell presses, rows, seated work, step and abdominal exercises: the flat bench hosts the basic movements that train the shoulders, arms, chest, back and core, and it must do so for every member, at every bodyweight, all day long.
Light to move, planted in use
At 24 kg the EB04 is light enough for any member to reposition, yet its 3 mm high-resistance steel frame — laser-cut for precision and robotically welded — keeps it perfectly stable under intensive training. The finish is where Bodytone’s process shows: steel stripped and stabilised by full immersion in degreasing solutions, a first antioxidant coat isolating the metal from internal oxidation, then epoxy polyester powder layers cured at 240 degrees — seven coats in all.

Frequently asked questions
Flat bench or adjustable bench?
Both: adjustables cover the angles, but a fixed flat bench is more rigid at the position members use most, never drifts out of adjustment, and costs less — which is why floors deploy them in numbers.
What is the working height?
43 cm — the standard pressing height that suits dumbbell work and step exercises alike.
What completes the free-weight basics?
The EB03 multiposition bench for angles and the EB02 Scott bench for arm work.
