Bodytone no longer presents its catalogue as a single Evolution range. The offer is now organised into clearly readable families: Cardio, Indoor Cycling, HIIT Cardio, Strength (selectorised, plate loaded, Solid Rock), Training Zone, Accessories and Pilates. For a professional facility, the question is no longer which range to buy, but which lines within that ecosystem match your concept: independent club, premium club, hotel, public authority or boutique studio.
This guide walks through the six families, states plainly what each one is for, and says which type of operator it fits. It is written for the person who has to fill a floor plan and defend the budget, not for the person browsing a brochure.
1. Cardio: EVOT, EVOT3, EVOU, EVOR, EVOE, EVOC
The Cardio family covers the backbone of any club cardio floor: treadmills, bikes, cross trainer and stair climber.
- EVOT and EVOT3 treadmills: professional treadmills built on a robust steel frame, with a CTS3 console reporting distance, steps, calories and heart rate, designed for intensive club use.
- EVOU upright bike and EVOR recumbent bike: bike solutions for mixed populations, from general members to older users and hotel guests, with accessible ergonomics.
- EVOE cross trainer: low-impact cardio for the returning-to-exercise and health-and-fitness profiles.
- EVOC stair climber: a step-climbing machine for premium cardio zones and fully equipped clubs.
In practice this family is the right starting point for two kinds of project. Independent clubs that want a homogeneous cardio floor, where one console family and one service contract cover every station. And hotels or serviced residences that need three to six professional stations: an EVOT or EVOT3 treadmill, an EVOU or EVOR bike, and an EVOE cross trainer will cover almost every guest profile in a compact footprint.
Whatever the family, the specification line to insist on for indoor equipment is EN ISO 20957-1 class S. It is the professional classification, and it is the line that separates equipment built for a commercial floor from equipment that is not.
2. Indoor Cycling: MT10 and MT6 for cycling studios
The Indoor Cycling collection groups the indoor bikes.
- MT10 and MT6 bikes: professional indoor cycling bikes suited to group cycling classes, dedicated cycling studios and high-intensity cardio zones.
These references fit two very different briefs. Either a dedicated cycling studio, where you buy a full grid of identical bikes and the consistency between them is the product. Or a handful of bikes added to a conventional cardio floor in an independent club, where indoor cycling is a complement rather than a programme in its own right. The two purchases look similar on paper and behave very differently in service: a studio grid is a high-cycle, high-sweat environment, and the maintenance plan should be written accordingly.
3. HIIT Cardio: the high-intensity family
The HIIT Cardio section brings together the machines built for high-intensity and functional cardio work. Four machine types make up the family:
- Curved treadmill: a motorless curved belt, ideal for sprints, technique work and cross-training zones.
- Air bike: the standard tool for interval work and conditioning circuits.
- Rower: a professional rowing machine, well suited to performance zones and circuits.
- Vertical climber: a climbing machine for very high-intensity cardio work.
This family serves two purposes. It complements a conventional cardio floor in an independent club, adding intensity without adding footprint. And it forms a dedicated HIIT zone in cross-training, performance and corporate gym projects, where members expect self-powered equipment and short, hard formats.
One practical note: the exact model references in this family are the ones to confirm against the current catalogue at quotation stage, because the naming has moved and a reference quoted from an older document may no longer point at the machine you have in mind.
4. Strength, selectorised: Forza Hero, Forza Bold, Forza Dual, Forza Crossover
The Strength selectorised collection covers the guided machines with weight stacks, split into several Forza lines.
- Forza Hero: guided machines with a contemporary design, for clubs that want a premium image on the floor.
- Forza Bold: a heavier, more massive line, clearly oriented towards intensive use and heavily loaded strength floors.
- Forza Dual: two-in-one dual-station machines that cover several movements while saving floor area.
- Forza Crossover: cable crossover and cable station solutions for pulley zones and guided functional work.
In real projects these lines are used in two ways: as the base layer of guided machines in independent and commercial clubs, and as the heavy line for the leg, back, chest and shoulder zones in clubs with a high-traffic strength floor. Where floor area is the binding constraint, the dual-station machines are usually the line that makes a plan work.
5. Strength, plate loaded and Solid Rock: SRX, Solid Rock, Solid Grow, Outdoor
The plate-loaded section and the SRX Solid Rock, Solid Rock, Solid Grow and Solid Rock Outdoor collections cover free-weight machines and outdoor solutions.
- SRX Solid Rock: very robust plate-loaded machines, for heavy loading and performance zones.
- Solid Rock: a complete line of heavy plate-loaded strength machines with a distinctly hard-training image.
- Solid Grow: variants aimed at growing a facility or completing an existing floor, on the same design logic.
- Solid Rock Outdoor: outdoor adaptations, in structure and finish, for open-air strength training.
These lines are specified for the semi-guided free-weight zones of independent clubs and performance clubs, and for outdoor heavy strength projects run by municipalities, leisure parks and open-air sports complexes. Outdoor is a genuinely different purchase: the structure, the fixings and the surface treatment carry the whole service life, and the anchoring and the surfacing underneath belong in the same specification as the machines.
6. Training Zone, Accessories and Pilates
The Training Zone and Accessories sections structure everything that completes the floor: benches, racks, free weights, functional equipment, bars, handles and Pilates.
- Benches and stations: weight benches and stations, essential for structuring a free-weight floor.
- Racks and storage: racks, storage supports and tidying solutions that keep a floor clean and usable.
- Free weights: dumbbells, discs, kettlebells and the rest, the core of the zone.
- Bars and coloured bars: Olympic bars and coloured bars, to differentiate loads and work on the visual identity of the floor.
- Functional training: rigs, functional accessories and equipment for circuits and conditioning formats.
- Bar and pulley accessories: handles, grips and specialist bars.
- Pilates and Reformer: wooden reformers and the Pilates range for studios and wellbeing zones.
These lines complete the Forza and Solid Rock machines with benches, racks and free weights, build complete functional and HIIT zones, and bring Pilates and reformer equipment into studios, hotels and wellbeing areas.
Which lines for which concept
Reading the six families back against the brief usually resolves the specification quickly. An independent club builds on the Cardio family plus Forza selectorised machines, then adds a HIIT corner and a free-weight zone as the membership grows. A premium club leads with Forza Hero and Solid Rock, and treats the cardio floor as a design surface as much as a functional one. A hotel or serviced residence needs three to six cardio stations and a small guided or dual-station strength offer, chosen for footprint and for silence. A public authority specifying outdoor equipment goes to Solid Rock Outdoor, and budgets the surfacing and the anchoring at the same time. A boutique studio starts from indoor cycling, the HIIT family or Pilates, depending on the programme it sells.
Building your equipment list
Light In Fitness has been equipping professional facilities since 2013 and works across the whole Bodytone ecosystem, which means the useful conversation is not about a catalogue but about a floor plan. Browse the cardio equipment range, the Bodytone Forza selectorised machines and the Solid Rock plate loaded range to see what each family looks like in practice.
Send us your floor area, your ceiling height, your expected attendance and your concept, and we will come back with a line-by-line equipment list and a costed layout: request a quote.
