Turnkey gym fit out projects
A turnkey project means one supplier from the first sketch to the first training session. Light In Fitness audits the space, produces the layout, supplies the equipment, lays the flooring, installs the machines and takes care of the equipment afterwards. You approve a plan and a price, not a pile of purchase orders.
The five stages

Why the order matters
Flooring goes down before equipment, drainage and slope are decided before outdoor slabs are poured, and floor loading is checked before a rack is anchored. Reversing those steps is the most common and the most expensive mistake in a gym fit out. A layout study costs nothing when it is part of a project quotation and saves the cost of moving machines twice.
Typical projects
- Commercial gym, 300 to 1 200 m2: free weight area, selectorised circuit, cardio row, functional zone, changing area flooring.
- Hotel or resort fitness room, 30 to 120 m2: compact cardio and strength selection, mirrors, acoustic underlay, outdoor station for the garden.
- Municipal outdoor site: street workout rig or fitness trail, EN 16630 compliant, impact surfacing, anchoring study, accessible stations.
- CrossFit box or Hyrox venue: rig sized to the ceiling, rubber flooring and platforms, sled track, storage.
- Containerised gym: 20 or 40 foot container, stainless steel fittings for exposed sites, delivered equipped.
Frequently asked questions
Is the layout study really free?
It is included when it supports a project quotation. Standalone design work on a project we do not supply is quoted separately.
Can the work be phased over two budget years?
Yes, and this is common with public buyers. The layout is designed once for the final configuration, then delivered in phases so that nothing has to be moved later.
Do you install outside France?
Installation is quoted per project. For export orders we also supply assembly drawings and remote support when a local team carries out the work.
