Description
The Stork’s Nest borrows its silhouette from the lookout barrels perched on sailing-ship masts: a 219.1 mm central steel mast carries a circular observation platform at 3 m, ringed by an HPL barrier and served by a tube slide. Around it, four peripheral posts support a three-branch braided net, with two suspended hammocks below for the off-watch crew.
A crow’s nest for the playground
Reaching the nest is the game: children aged 5 to 14 climb the three-branch net radiating between the peripheral posts and the central mast, then step onto the guarded platform to survey the playground from 3 m up. The tube slide provides the express route down, and the two hammocks slung within the net offer swaying rest stops. With its 9.0 m masthead and nautical narrative, the tower suits marinas, lakesides and any park that wants a lookout landmark.

Frequently asked questions
Is the 3 m platform safe for unsupervised play?
The platform is enclosed by a full HPL barrier and reached only through the climbing net, with the slide as the controlled exit; the design complies with EN 1176-1:2017.
What role do the hammocks play?
Slung within the net field, they give children swaying rest points and make the structure attractive even to those not heading for the summit.
What site works best?
Any park wanting a vertical accent: the 9 m mast reads from afar while the ground footprint stays a manageable 12.5 x 10.1 m with a 16.0 x 13.0 m safety zone.
