Description
This stainless steel outdoor standing triceps pushdown uses Olympic plates to load pressing and extension movements for the upper body. It targets the triceps directly while involving the shoulders and chest, and the standing position keeps the exercise natural for users of very different heights.
The pushdown reaches all three heads of the triceps, the long, lateral and medial, which is more than a dip station achieves. Because the load is set with Olympic plates from 5 kg to 60 kg in 5 kg steps, progression can be tracked session to session in the same way as indoors, and the strength gained transfers directly to pressing movements such as press ups and bench work.
Construction is high quality stainless steel, resistant to rain, humidity, UV and temperature swings, with no corrosion and minimal maintenance. The ergonomic layout provides stability, smooth movement and comfort, which is what allows the station to hold up to intensive use in outdoor strength parks, public spaces and high specification private installations.

Height and siting considerations
At 210 cm the pushdown is one of the taller stations in the range, which has two consequences for the layout. It reads as a visual marker and works well at the entrance of an outdoor strength area, and it needs clearance overhead where trees or canopies are present, since a low branch over a standing cable station is a genuine hazard.
The declared safety zone is 19.69 square metres against a footprint of 238 by 66 centimetres, so the ground reserved must be planned from the safety figure. Anchoring is prepared on foundations or an existing concrete slab, with impact attenuating surfacing dimensioned to the free fall height. Light In Fitness manufactures the range in Tours, installs across France, covers Belgium, Switzerland and Luxembourg, and quotes export per project.
Frequently asked questions
Is the standing position suitable for all users?
The station is designed for users from 140 cm and 13 years of age. Within that range the standing position accommodates different heights naturally, since the user adjusts their stance rather than a seat.
Why choose stainless steel over coated steel?
Stainless does not corrode and requires no repainting, so it removes the recurring refinishing cost that coated equipment carries in a public installation. Maintenance is limited to cleaning and periodic inspection.
What plates should we order?
Plates are quoted separately, with the quantity matched to the expected user profile of the site. We advise on the set and on secure storage as part of the layout study.
